Overview

It is the day that you will visit KAKKU and TAUNGGYI .At 9 o’clock in the morning ,you shall depart from your hotel by boat or by car to TAUNGGYI firstly and you will continue your visit to KAKKU for about another hour but it depends on road and weather conditions.In Kakku ,start your visit by studying KAKKU Pagoda , a pagoda complex in the hills overlooking the valley South East of Inle Lake.It consists of over 2000 stupas.So,you can feel the different taste of many stupas .For the lunch, try the local food (Shan Noodle) and feel the local life .After lunch,you shall leave KAKKU for HTAN PAYA village and cave where numerous Shan Buddha images of various sizes are kept on the wall of the small & shallow cave.On the way back to TAUNGGYI,visit a typical Pa O Village, the second largest ethnic group in Shan State, including its plantation.
